Mactac uses their proprietary formulated adhesives MP150, MP160, and MR593 on the tape constructions listed below:
- MD2111 – used for Medical Devices, high-end electronics gasket & bonding, and Membrane Switch Applications.
- TM4105 – A closed cell. .062” polyethylene foam with medical-grade adhesive coated on one side. This next-gen solvent-free acrylic adhesive is approved for direct skin contact and is used for Electro-Mechanical Devices (EKG, grounding pads, etc.)
- TM 8500 – Double coated tape is a .5 mil polyester carrier with 1.8 mils of MP150 medical grade adhesive on both sides. Approved for direct skin contact.
- TM8650 – Double-coated clear polyester film coated with solvent-free acrylic, medical grade adhesive (M160) formulated for sustained, longer-term contact with human skin, such as wearable devices for remote monitoring. Assessed by an independent bio-medical laboratory following ISO-10993 guidelines for skin contact properties.
- Surgical drapes and device collaboration – Ask about a collaborative converter finishing program incorporating our close tolerance slitting, die cutting, and laminating any of these medical tapes to your material.
